Experiential
Gestalt therapy is about experiencing. Together we will co-create experiments to explore your story and experience more fully. I like using art, gesture, role-play and other creative methods to help us shift perspective and explore the issues you bring to session.
-
Embodied
Gestalt therapy is about reconnecting your thoughts to your emotions and sensations - the felt sense of your story. In session I will check in with how you are feeling and will aid you in discovering words to express and clarify your feelings and physical sensations. I’ve found working somatically can re-integrate a memory/ situation and provide new insight into an issue that was elusive or confusing before.

Relational
Gestalt therapy is relational. Everything is about how we work together; your impact on me and vice versa. Anything we do in session is with your consent - you always have the choice to say “no”. I will do my best to make the space a safe, confidential, supportive environment.
