I have degrees in both fine arts and psychology. From art I bring my understanding of process and my ability to shift perspective and find patterns. From psychology, I have an extensive background in mindfulness research, an appreciation for difference and a desire to connect - to work with people, not just data.
I named my practice Head Heart Hand Therapy after a saying from my painting teacher. He felt art needed all 3: the skill (hand), the emotion (heart) and the idea (head). I feel therapy is about helping people become more fully themselves. You are not broken, but you may feel stuck or not as vibrantly yourself as you could be - let’s work on integrating your Head (thoughts), Heart (feelings) and Hand (embodied self- sensations) so that you can live more fully and vibrantly.
